The existing website undermined the Service Management team’s credibility and failed to communicate their strategic role in Nike’s technology infrastructure.

Reflection
This project exemplifies the transformative impact of thoughtful UX/UI design on organizational credibility and communication. The Service Management team’s existing website undermined their strategic importance through inconsistent design, weak messaging, and placeholder content. By executing a comprehensive redesign addressing visual design, content strategy, information architecture, and brand consistency, I transformed a fragmented web presence into a polished professional hub.
The challenge wasn’t just aesthetic—it was strategic. The website needed to communicate the Service Management team’s value to Nike stakeholders, establish credibility, and provide clear navigation to resources. This required understanding the team’s strategic positioning, translating technical capabilities into accessible language, and creating visual hierarchy that prioritized critical information.
The “Make IT Frictionless” brand positioning became the unifying concept tying together disparate teams (AOHR, ITAM, ORS, COE) under a common mission. By eliminating placeholder content, strengthening purpose statements, and replacing generic stock photos with authentic team imagery, the redesigned website now accurately reflects the professionalism and strategic importance of the Service Management organization.
